I need a new headset

So what kind of Mic is everyone using? My stock 360 mic has been having problems so im thinking of getting a new one. Iv never had much success with the 360 wireless mics but maybe it was due to some fault in my old xbox. Any suggestions?

I've been through 3 wired MS headsets, and I was getting sick of them breaking every 2-3 months, so I tried out the wireless one, and I've had it for about 2 years now, and I haven't had one problem with it. I charge it when the battery is low, so I don't charge every night, but it sounds good, works great, and keeps a good 6-10 hours charge.

The ONLY thing I don't like about it, is the mute function. It works good, but it'll continue to beep every 30-45 seconds when it's on mute. I just wish it didn't beep at all. Now, I know the older posts that were made in '07 said their wireless mic didn't work great, but I guess they've improved them, cause two of my friends got them around the same time as me, and all of ours work great.

Seeing this thread makes me sad, that headset I had bought three years ago got chewed up by my dog recently.

I went out and bought a headset at the 99 Cent Store and it actually worked out well.
