A nice drawer

Yes, I hate it when people use "drawer" when describing artistic talent. Idiots...

One thing that always helps me to get in the mood to draw again, (I ace art class BTW) is to go back and look at some pics I drew a few months ago and compair them with some more recent work. I can easily pick out mistakes in the older one and see how I have actually improved in just a short time. Dunno, it helps me.

will taking a graphic art class make me a lot better or is drawing more of a skill you're born with - you can do it or you cant.

I do the same thing. It really does help. :)

people have told me I can draw but I have a feeling they're just trying to be nice.. hm.

I used to be good at drawing. However years of video games and *********ion have killed that talent:(

Really? That's done nothing but improve my art skill.

Well, one man's kryptonite is another man's yellow sun, I suppose.

I suck at drawing too but I don't think I'm the worst out there. I think my problem is patience and attention span. Plus I really though my art teacher was a complete muppet.

Though recently I've really been wanting to try again because of my writing. I really want to draw things from my writing so I can see it realised a bit more.

It makes a difference. I gave a hard copy of my fanfic to a coworker who knows nothing about comics. She was able to keep reading it in part because of my illustrations. She said it makes it a lot more interesting. :)

I guess Im alright for my age, I just suck compared to some of the amazing artists on here.......:(

I know a ton of people who have learned drawing from scratch. You can have some innate talent, but I think interest in drawing and proper teaching does a lot more for people. I tend to think it is an acquired gift.

Nobody can draw a circle. It's physically impossible.

You can't draw a "perfect" circle, but I know people who can get damn close...my old art teacher used to hold his breath while he did it, he told us that was a trick to it.

I can draw a perfect circle.

Tracing is still drawing.

Technically yes, but the circle still is imperfect to some fine degree.

A child is never imperfect to its mother or father.

Interesting name. I take it you're a fan. Are you familiar with the MMO being made for Warhammer?

I think you need to get out more if you believe that.

You're talking to WL here, he's still under the covers from his last thrashing by a child.

Not a child, a fully grown man.
