Its no surprise that Nolan likes hire oscar calibar actors in his movies! Hell he surprised us all with Ledger! I wouldnt be surprised he does it again! Now alot of you are going to say its Leo! But wait a mins, Forrest Whitaker is getting alot of oscar buzz and is clearly the fav to win Best Actor!!! He's been great in almost everything I've seen in him! And can easily play Harvey Dent! He would literally owned the role!!! What do you guys think?

So? Lot's of people look like D.A.s. Casting Dent isn't just about finding someone who could play a D.A., because Harvey's more than just that. He's more than just his job, he's a whole character. He's a character who's been written a certain way, and should therefore be played by someone who fits that. It's not a black thing, as Denzel Washington would be unspeakably awesome as Dent. It's partially a weight thing, but even then, he just doens't have the good looks and charm needed for Dent. And he looks too soft to play the psycho villain Two-Face.

Whitaker is a good actor but cmon just because someone is a good actor doesnt make them a plausible candidate for Dent. Certain qualities are required for this role, Whitaker has none of them outside of acting.

Since when is Joker not charmismatic? He's charistmatic as hell. Charisma is his middle name. As for good-looking, I wouldn't say he's decidedly ugly. He's never really described as either. He's got white skin, sure, but he's never been called hideous. Hell, Harley seems to like him.
