Unfortunately Marco Checchetto will not do the artwork of War-Zone.. Steve Wacker told in Fan Expo Canada 2012 that Marco had to drop out for personal reasons, the only thing we will see from him in WZ is the cover of the issues.

Steve find a new artist he is Carmine Di Giandomenico ( INVINCIBLE IRON MAN, X-MEN: MAGNETO – TESTAMENT and SPIDER MAN NOIR).

I like this art too, but i hoped to see one last time Greg and Marco in WZ.

Oh, Di Giandomenico is quite good too. I'm cool with him.

Not a fan of the eye damage being permanent, though. I hope he loses the patch sometime.

Check the thread, there's another pic of him with his eye intact and just a scar. It's a cover so it's hard to say if it's going to stick or not.

I don't mind a scar. I just don't think we need anymore patch-wearing, gun-wielding, underground badasses in the Marvel universe at this point.

Like I was saying in the Punisher thread that it seems weird that right after Remender went through all the trouble to use the Bloodstone to make him 100% again, Rucka turned right around and had the Vulture poke out his eyeball.

Yeah, I guess Marvel needs one these days. They should give him a sidekick too, like black Fury's Phil Coulson. They can use that guy from the Captain America movie, y'know the one that wore the bowlers hat, he was pretty swell...

Rachel should be his sidekick. There's no rule against boning your sidekick. Look at Batman.
