& after I had installed everything to play it, I clicked the icon & said it needed a TNL capable 3D card to play it.. What the heck is that?

The game requires a graphics adapter with hardware T&L (Transform and Lighting) support to run. Intel® graphics controllers do not support hardware T&L. T&L can be done by the processor (in software) with acceptable performance in most cases, but since the game specifically checks for hardware T&L, it fails to run.

I never ran that demo, but it sounds like you need an upgrade in graphics hardware for that.

Like I know how to do that.:o

You'd have to go to a computer store. Unfortunatley, graphics upgrades can cost alot.

Yeah, screw that. I uninstalled the entire game. I'm just reading the comics it bought.

It's possible there might be a free driver upgrade on the Intel site. They make specific reference to the Spider-Man game without saying 'there's no fix or workaround for this issue'.
