Really in the begins boards I'm just countering the over-blown praise it gets while other, what I feel are superior films, receive a kick in the nuts. pisses me off.

I believe Men in black was produced by the berg too so you have to at least concede that we'll be seeing something along those lines from the federal agents and underground alien fascility etc...

You are right he did produce MIB but it doesn't mean that will have an influence since he's been involved in many movies that will have zero influence here

on the contrary. I've seen a lot of spielberg influence in these clips. close encounters is one in that shot where sam's seeing the alien robot's light glowing in the distance... and I'd say the lighting techniques for some of the shots where a character's face is bathed in one color is signiture spielberg. hell bay worked on raiders of the lost ark afterall, so he's always probably been influenced by the berg in some form or another as well as lucas.

In fact this movie may be raiders of the lost cube...

He just needs to cut out the MTV editing bull crap and he'd be so much better a director because his cinematography is superb.

Im not complaining. Who can blame someone for being beautiful? That's why she has a marylin monroe tatoo on her arm because she's in the same league I guess. An actress mostly known for her looks than talent.

I think she has talent, more than alba anyway.

Yes the influence is there but as i said not from every film he's been involved with,for instance Turturo seems nothing like the MIB agents

I did not like the credit card scene either. It seemed a bit too much for soldiers fighting a huge metal scorpion. It takes away the feeling that they were in danger. I think it would have been a little more realistic if he started looking for the wallet and then Tyrese yells "Left cheek" once. Also, isnt this a collect call cause the recepient usually gets charged and since when do they offer you packages on a collect call anyway?

Another scene I have a issue with(not comedy and not listed here) is the part where Blackout lands on the base and the guy says "MH3 pilot, power down or we will kill you". To me that seems a little over the top. I think it would have been more realistic if he said "or we will be forced to take aggressive action" or something to that nature.

^ I can agree with you to some extend with the credit card thing.... but the thing with blackout, and the "...or we will kill you line" could very well be edited... I'm sure that it'll look a lot different in the movie it self.

I can understand where you are coming from, but the whole scene leading up to that puts them on MAJOR high guard. They have a potential death risk on their hand, and who knows who it could be. "KILL" is a more recognized part of english then "aggressive action" is by non-english speaking peops. I work within the Armed Forces, and I can see that being the first thing said also. Specially if you know the discussion leading up to that.

Megan Fox is hot as hell, damn I want to smoke that ass BUT I see nothing wrong with her acting in this movie, she's fine and I'm sure she's done a good enough job. Besides, the focus is on Shia and the robots.....I'm itching to see this film.

The clips are funny for a reason I think, cuz they are showing it on the Funny talk-show (Jay Leno and Conan)

I saw Fantastic Four: Silver Surfer yesterday, and I was MOSTLY fine with the rumor in that movie!

Based on everything I've seen, I'd have to agree. Makes me really really optimistic about Indy 4! (and this movie, Michael Bay notwithstanding). Let's hope he doesn't go down the River Pheonix (Indy 3) route and self-implode.

I don't see that happening personally...it's that squeaky clean Disney upbringing he had...I think he'll grow up to be a new "Hollywood Nice Guy" like John Cusack, Tom Hanks, or Bruce Willis (minus the heavy action films)
