BvS If there is another villain such as Doomsday, will Snyder TRY to keep it secret?

there is another villain, they confirmed that in the official synopsis of the film. The question is "WHO" or "WHAT" is it lol. I personally really hope it's not DOOMSDAY since I want him to be Kryptonian.....and there is a Kryptonian document stating he already exists or existed at some point on Krypton.

Best guess would have to be Bizarro since it adds up. Lex has Zod's body and is obviously doing something to it, in the comics, many of Bizarro's origins is stated that Lex created him (even in the New 52 stuff). Will it actually be Bizarro? I doubt it, more like a zombie Zod, Lex's first attempt at making Bizarro. During the fight I'd expect Superman to "BLEED" and Lex get a blood sample leading to a future film where he makes a full out Bizarro clone ;)

I don't want to see Doomsday yet (I think a villain like that needs to be facing the entire JL to show just how powerful he is, which will further heighten the impact of Superman's sacrifice if they go down the 'Death of ....' route) .............. but I'd certainly like them to sow the seeds in this film for his eventual arrival. Maybe just something alluding to his existence.

After the scene in the trailer where Batman dodges the heat vision I think there's DEFINITELY another villain. There's no way that was Superman, he doesn't kill... With heat vision, he will snap Batman's neck! :sus

Though Doomsday hasn't been officially confirmed yet...the rumor that Doomsday will be in this movie has been steady and persistant for a while and from many sources...Zack Snyder in an interview eliminated Metallo as being the second villain saying Metallo was going to be the main baddie in the original MOS sequel plot before they changed everything around and brought in Batman...Doomsday probably fits this script better than Metallo would have...Doomsday is such a powerful destructive force I can see Superman, WW, and Batman having their hands full trying to take down this bad boy.

I feel Bizzarro, and I mean a traditional "starts as a doppelgänger, then devolves into his usual look" Bizzarro, might be the physical threat. Whatever's attacking Batman in his DKR homage shot uses heat vision, yet misses. Superman almost certainly wouldn't use heat vision on a regular human, and the power's description is such it seems like it'd be hard to miss with...unless you're a degenerative clone breaking down. And I think a doppelgänger Superman is just as strong an explanation for our "Superman leading an evil army" and "Superman kneeling before a smirking Lex" shots (though I hope the latter is real Superman being subdued by Lex before the tables get turned.)

McNairy I think might be playing a proto-Metallo, with his final transformation being saved for later. What I think he may be is a survivor of the Battle of Metropolis who's received help from a joint LexCorp and Wayne Enterprises prosthetic program that also serves a young man named Victor Stone. John Corben is the guy who helps Lex seize control of the Batplane and turn it on living targets, with a variation of the Cyborg Superman hacking power. He gets defeated and Lex sends him under the knife to get upgraded into Metallo.

Doomsday...I don't think I'd even really want Doomsday in this movie, particularly not as a creation by Lex. Doomsday should be a villain capable of engaging the entire JLA at once, including multiple Lanterns, and when they are coordinating strategy to try and stop him. If he's still the beast that killed Superman, you need to raise the stakes by a magnitude over Zod. And that much skill in engineering a living weapon shouldn't be Lex's just yet; I kind of feel that Brainiac and Darkseid should be the only modern villains capable of creating Doomsday. Lex should stick with creations that serve a double purpose; like Bizzarro being used to frame Superman, or Superboy being used to infiltrate his life and activated as a Manchurian Agent.

I dunno...I really don't think it's going to be Bizarro.

If Doomsday is in this movie... Would anyone enjoy it if his origin is that he escaped the Phantom Zone when Kal haphazardly opened it on Earth? Maybe Kryptonians sealed him in there hundreds of years ago

That wouldn't exactly paint Superman in a favorable light.

In the future, I'd like to see these guys avoid cleaning up their own messes.

My preferred origin for Doomsday would be that Darkseid snatched him up back when Krypton was still an expansive world, with Doomsday being their insurance in case anything bad happened thanks to their exploring. Darkseid thus keeps him as a weapon of last resort: unleashing him both guarantees that your enemy will be defeated, but that you will also lose the planet your fighting over.

If Doomsday is in this film I hope it ultimately comes down to just Superman and Doomsday. He's a Superman enemy, not a league enemy. Almost every enemy powerful enough to get into an all out brawl with Superman has become a JL enemy.

Plus I want to see a full on visceral throw down. The Zod fight was great but I want something more brutal and primal. Superman fought Zod primarily in the sky. The fight against doomsay would be tied to the ground. It would be awesome to see the ground shake as they fight each other.

I've been thinking this too. Mainly because I think Victor ends up in LexCorp and so I can see Metallo type character being the first. And I think there's potential for Cyborg to be Lex' forced villain turned good guy. ANd that's how he would be introduced in the JL. I know doomsday is a rumor but that doesn't mean it's real. I would love to have a darkseid story for the JL

Could just flat out be Darkseid. Though if it were his Omega beams aren't very comic accurate. Plus I'm not sure it's a good idea to use Darkseid at all in the DCEU. Avengers is using Thanos and he's a total Darkseid ripoff. They should go somewhere different. Maybe get the JL involved in more off planet conflicts.

Honestly, i just want to see the next step in Superman's evolution to what we all know and love as Superman.

MOS he was a loner, the world was introduced to him and it caused mass devastation as a result - to have a doopleganger so soon in the series, i feel it would be a step backwards.

I want to see the world love him, with a few percentage and governments afraid. I want to see this symbol of hope they all bang on about, not a bizarro creature that makes the nation hate superman for another 90 minutes.

I think both teaser and trailer should make it clear that his presence on Earth is still going to be controversial. Expecting or wanting the film to be different is being unrealistic at this point given what we have been shown. The film most likely will end with a more accepted Superman in world opinion but the film has to get to that point. That's part of the ride.

I could see a possibility of Doomsday false leaks, and possibly Metallo (as indicated by Snyder as the first choice if it were a Superman sequel) ending up as the actual villain. I do agree>>> It is still odd (as pointed out by others on here) that an announcement for Mulvey came yet we never saw any footage of him. :o Mo-cap character

This has been posted before but I thought it was an excellent idea for an origin which would work within the MOS universe.

Personally I'd prefer if Doomsday wasn't created by Lex, or any other human. I always liked his Kryptonian backstory which gives him a direct emotional link to Superman, and also explains how his power levels are beyond anything known - humanity being able to create a beast like that would be a step too far IMO.

If anything it would seem more likely that Superman carries the Doomsday genome in his body. The codex was implanted into him afterall.

What comic is that from?

I hope so. I don't hope it's Doomsday. But I hope it's not revealed until showtime.

I don't think it's a comic, I think it was a fan-art MOS 'prequel' that someone posted on Deviantart or similar. Always loved the idea though.

I honestly think there will be. As I've mentioned in a different thread I don't think Bruce is talking about Superman when he says 'He has the power to wipe out the entire human race. And we have to destroy him'

I believe he is either talking to Superman or appealing for help.
