If these actors somehow returned to their DC roles one more time, how would you rank your excitement for them?

These are the choices (and my ranking);

1. Michael Keaton ~ for a third Batman solo
2. Gal Gadot ~ for a third Wonder Woman solo
3. Sasha Calle ~ for a first Supergirl solo
4. Ben Affleck ~ for a first Batman solo
5. Christian Bale ~ for a fourth Batman solo
6. Ryan Reynolds ~ for a second Green Lantern solo
7. Zachary Levi ~ for a third Shazam solo
8. Henry Cavill ~ for a second Superman solo

Probably:
1. Keaton
2. Bale
3. Calle
4. Reynolds

(Big gulf)

5. Gadot
6. Affleck
7. Levi
8. Cavill

I think aside from Bale because I think he's moved on, and Levi because I didn't enjoy Fury of the Gods as much as the first one, I'd be jazzed for any of these to return in some capacity- Cavill in particular after he'd been screwed over after he was finally back. If just for the sake of closure that the DCEU didn't get due to Warner's incompetence.

If Keaton were back, I'd prefer it be for something Batman Beyond-related. Calle was great in The Flash and while I'm curious about the DCU's take, it's unfortunate that Calle never got the chance to shine in a leading role of her own possible solo project.

Absolutely on both of these.

For me, only Keaton. I’d love to see a Batman Beyond though even that ship may have sailed. I think the time to do may have been after the TDK trilogy or in place of The Flash.

I think you may be right, sadly.

The following three will never happen, of that I'm sure, but...

1.) Keaton
2.) Pfeiffer
3.) Bale

Otherwise, it time to march forward.

Instinctively, I'd go

1. Keaton
2. Bale
3. Gadot
4. Cavill (assuming he's finally free of Snyder and other grimdark Superman devotees)
5. Calle
6. Affleck
7. Levi
8. Reynolds

Although, I think only Bale would move the needle for the general public.

I agree with this; but I’m so mad at myself that I didn’t shout of Pfeiffer too. A Keaton return would absolutely need to include Pfeiffer.

And, honestly, are people really interested in seeing a continuation of Bale’s story post-retirement? Wasn’t that already the first hour of TDKR?

1. Yeah the Dark Keaton Returns scenes almost as is, should have been used to launch the Batman Beyond U. Attaching him to the Flash seemed fruitless, and idea spent.

Time to strike for this has passed, not sure what a Keaton Re-Return would garner, but yeah, following up on Catwoman (Pfeiffer), could have sold it. There might be an untold re-encounter there worth telling, even better if you could get Burton back to direct.

2. As for Calle's Supergirl, if instead of introducing her as Superman's cousin Kara, (who everyone knows what she should look like)
They had instead introduced her as an alt version of Lara, the daughter of Superman and Wonder Woman, who she actually looked like:

Particularly read (to me) as she could be the Daughter of Christopher Reeve (Superman) who we saw in the time-singularity, and and Lynda Cordova Carter (Wonder Woman) who we should have seen), As her hypothetical parents.
And Keaton symbolically her godfather.
Developing Calle as part of the specific ongoing legacy of that unique time-line, Calle as Lara might have still worked carrying it forward to her own movie.

3. They might sell me on a Levi third Shazam? If it finally crossed with Johnson as Teth-Adam. Which is what everyone wanted to see from the go.

4. Cavill, Gadot & Afflek as the Trinity in a last stand vs Darkseid. (really couldn't care less abt the others in the group)

5. Bale had such a definitive end, I wouldn't mess with it. Though if WB throws some desperately shameless RDJ money at him, maybe he can come back with a different mask, as the Wrath!? :funny:

Seem pointless, any of this is dead or way off WB's radar, and their New Universe launch.

The possibilities were plentiful—and it just all went to waste for actors like Ben Affleck, Sasha Calle and Henry Cavill. I hope Warner Bros. just keeps moving forward with the DC Universe for the foreseeable future, at least the next 15+ years. I don't want to see another half-baked universe with them starting over eight years from now. I want to see the characters fully develop and have their various trilogies or sagas in a shared universe.

I could see Pfeiffer and Keaton returning for a Batman Beyond limited series set in that universe. Definitely not a film now though. Aside from that, I think Bale is the only one that would garner any real excitement at this point.

I could see some excitement to see the return of Burton/Schumacher villains. Maybe Tom Welling. Maybe a JGL continuation of Nolan's films.

Maybe they would return in animated form, kind of similar to what Adam West did a few years ago:

Bale
Keaton
Affleck
Cavill
Reynolds I guess

Zero interest in anything else on the list. Levi and Calle sucked. Gadot is a terrible actress
