You can see the covers at Newsarama, since the Hype apparently limits the number of images I can put in a quote now.

Anyway, right off the bat, I'm dying with anticipation for the Metal Men. It sounds like Rouleau (who I didn't even know could write) is going to take every variant on a theme and throw it against the Metal Men, which, frankly, sounds like loads of fun. One thing that confused me is "Platina," though. The Latin "platinum" is gender-neutral, so it should be fine for a male or a female. "Platina" is actually the plural of "platinum." So I'm confused about whether there's more than one Platinum or Rouleau just wanted Platinum's name to be more feminine. Other than that, it's looks pretty sweet. I like Rouleau's art, too.

Five of a Kind sounds like a weird-ass event. I know for a fact I'm not reading Outsiders because Winick is still going to be writing it, but I think I may pick up these one-shots. There are some weird character combinations that might make for an interesting read. I'm willing to bet that the final team roster will be Batman, Nightwing, Katana, J'onn, Metamorpho, and Grace. We all know Bruce is gonna pick Nightwing over Boomerang. Captain Marvel is stuck in the Rock of Eternity, so he's not joining ****. Bruce is on the JLA with Black Lightning, who's never been happy with Anissa's superheroics, so he's gonna bump her off the team out of respect for Jefferson. Metamorpho is pretty much synonymous with the Outsiders while Aquanewb is not. Wonder Woman doesn't fit with the Outsiders at all, and I think Winick has a crush on Grace or something because he always makes her the uber-badass to end all badasses.

pfft,i'll be there by 8:30.

anywho, im not confident about duncan on metal men.

the whole outsiders spin offs are iffy, really wish winnick was off the title.

No on the Outsiders.

I'll probably pick up Booster Gold and Black Adam.

And I'm still laughing my ass off over the uselessness of Meltzer's JLA run. 7 issues to set up the team, 3 to a crossover, and 2 as a finisher.

looks like the Outsiders are going to become a MAJOR powerhouse team.. just like the Teen titans :p

shut up! the roster will probably end up being lame anyways, plus its written by winnick nothing good comes from him.

i hate saying this... buuuuuuuuut

i kinda like how he brough back Jason Todd... (yes i know superboys punch sucks) but it was well explained in that batman annual...

ohh and Jason tok it up the ass when he was living on the streets.. he told speedy he did...

Watching Kebab and GAH basically argue about which of their ****ty opinions is worse is really weird.

yeah .. i get a bit of heat for liking the return of jason.. granted he is a bit overused.. and stuff..

kebab wins the match.

brubaker's explanation of bucky's returns rapes winnik's **** hands down. seriously go read the widner soldier tbp and tell you think winnick's explanation is good.

That Alex Ross cover is just isn't doing it for me. Actually both of them. I'm so meh on Ross right now. Outsiders, lol, dude I hope no one buys that ****.

I read widner soldier, and I got to say, I dind't like it.

Ex Machina looks awesome as always. John Paul Leon? Kick ass.

:csad:
What are the odds that I would make the exact same spelling error that you did unintentionally? GAH, your making it hard to be an a$$hole.

Can someone tell Alex Ross to stop painting himself in Superman's image and that Red Tornado is a robot... not a five cent plastic toy? Lord, do I hate that man.

Is it just me or do they overuse the phrase, "as only"?

Definitely going to be checking out the new Booster Gold series. I'm always up for good time traveling stories and Geoff Johns and Dan Jurgens definitely has me signed up.

I am rather disappointed by the Outsiders line-up. It should have some heavy hitters, but not freaking Martian Manhunter. He belongs in the League dammit!
