Apple so I could sell it to Microsoft. I hate Apple.

Amazon (for discounts), Nintendo (have more input on games), Google ($$$), and Nike ($$$) would also be good.

BK so I can run that **** out of business.

I voted for Nintendo because I thought it would be a lot of fun. Deep down I would choose Disney so that I could give Marvel back it's independence and then take my pants off and run around defaming the company.

No Wal-Mart?

No oil companies? (Exxon, Chevron, BP, Shell, Gazprom, Saudi Aramco, Bharat, Sinopec, etc.)

No mining companies? (BHP, Rio Tinto, Vale, Xstrata, Phelps Dodge, Mosaic, Barrick, Anglo American, etc.)

...I am disappoint.

Warner Brothers or News Corp- just so I can ruin the company from the inside, but with WB I'd try and get more DC movies out.

I'd buy Coca Cola back from the Japanese and CEO of that....

And then I would buy Anheuser-Busch back from the Belgians and be CEO of both....

Walt Disney. I would...

*Stop promoting all of those no-talent kids
*Go back to creating quality animated pictures (perhaps using fairytales from other cultures?)
*Pay lots of attention to the X-men and have MORE GAMBIT :D (since my company technically own his character)

I thought the fairy tales they have done were from other cultures...

Maybe some are. But I don't know of them. Which ones?

Snow White-Germany 1500s
Pinocchio-Italy -- not sure
Cinderella-France or Italy 1400s-1600s
Sleeping Beauty-France 1600s
The Black Calderon-England or France 800-1200
The Little Mermaid-Denmark or Holland 1600s
Beauty and the Beast-France 1600s-1700s
Aladdin-Saudi Arabia 400-1000
Hercules-Greece

Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and The Beast, Aladdin, Jungle Book I'm sure there are a few more, I just can't remember them....

The Jungle Book was by an Englishman but used India as a setting.

Snow White, Beauty and the Beast and Sleeping Beauty are all European stories.

I'm not sure about Aladdin, but I don't think anyone is.

When I said stories from other cultures, I meant more stories that are native to cultures outside of the "western world".

If I remember correctly, the story of Aladdin came through a European writer who was an orientalist. I think that there's still scholarly debate about whether or not he made it up.

Walt Disney so I could get lots of free Marvel stuff, make sure they do some new, fun Marvel movies and get cameos in the movies :cwink:

Uh, what?

Coca-Cola is a US company headquartered in the US listed on US stock exchanges whose shareholders are mainly Americans. The CEO is a Turkish-American.

Aladdin is definitely an Arabic folk tale, but it was only added to the A '1001 Nights' collection by a French guy who heard the story from an unknown Syrian. It just existed in a separate volume prior to this. Aladdin was a street kid in a Chinese city when he gets recruited by a bad magician (Jafar in most of our minds).

Rudyard Kipling wrote the Jungle Book. He was British but born in India. Kipling also wrote The Man Who Would Be King which was turned into a movie in the 70s starring Sean Connery and Micheal Caine

I would be CEO of NIKE, but all I would do is make myself head of design and marketing then leave the rest of the boring work to someone else.

Mulan and Brother Bear.

Now that's the kind of thing that I'm talking about! I just googled it. Apparently Mulan is based on Chinese folklore. If I were a CEO there, Disney would certainly do more of that.

...and Brother Bear.
Are you sure that Disney didn't just make that one up?

Walt Disney as well, and along with those three reasons, they have so many companies under them that you would be rolling in the dough.

I can't help but notice that you cropped out the Gambit part there, Figs. :oldrazz:

Hahaha! I do like Gambit, but it just wasn't a reason why I would want to be a CEO of Disney. I would like to see more of him in a future X-men film, I wasn't hating. :cwink:
