The Dark Knight Rises IGN's Top Ten things we want in Batman 3

Not true.

They didn't mention midgets.

I want midgets in Batman 3.

The Batman fighting midgets.

'Hood

So where could Batman 3 take Bruce Wayne this time? A return to Hong Kong doesn't seem out of the question seeing as how Lau made off with most of the Gotham underworld's cash (the Joker burned his share of the loot).

I guess they failed to realize that Lau was tied up in a chair on top of that burning money, therefore Lau is toast. :o

One thing I didn't see mentioned that I'd like to see is Bruce Wayne visiting his parents' grave.

sorry if been posted before, delete if done already.

pretty much every thing we all want.

I agree with pretty much everything said.

I def want a bigger rouges gallery, even if say the Penguin is only in it for like 10-15 minutes as the new crime boss or something, Talia being both the romantic and antagonizing interest, and Bane is employed by the city to smoke out Batman while Riddler is the main man stirring the pot.

Catwomen could even be in the shadows. I love how they make Gotham seem like a breathing entity and I want them to continue that!

A very boring list. These issues have been discussed and rediscussed on every internet board/thread revolving around the Dark Knight sequel already.

The fact that IGN calls Ra's Al Ghul a mid level villain tells me what I need to know.

yea they havn't got a scooby.

the only thing thats disappointed me with this series is that there has been no visit to Bruces parents grave. But maybe Nolan was saving that for the third for specific reasons.

another rooftop scene between comm.gordon and batman, but this time we get to see bats throw out a rope and swing away.or we see gordon waiting, and batman lands on the bat signal.

Actually, they did mention that he was burned on top of Joker's cash.

IGN's list is fairly obvious, but on point. They seem to have hit upon all of the universal elements that have been discussed in this forum.

The dad issues were given their due diligence in Batman Begins. Nolan moved on with the story in Dark Knight without giving it a second thought. If you only watched Dark Knight you'd never get a sense of his parents murder and his motivation to become Batman. All that was covered in the previous film. So I wouldn't hold your breath to see the parent issue given any screen time whatsoever in #3.

Even in the Burton and Schulmaker sequels Bruce's parents murder still resonated within Wayne. But Nolan dispensed with this completely in Batman Begins.

The pretty much got everything I want to see in the 3rd installment.

Boss Throne.
Deadshot
Catwoman or Talia as potenial love interest.
Batcave completed.
New Batmobile.
Penguin and Riddler.
GCPD (with Sarah Essen).
Gordan suspectting Wayne as Batman.
A return to Arkham and the narrows.
A vist to Bludhaven

yeah they covered most the basics. As someone mentioned , I would also like to see Bruce visit his parents graves.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but I'd love a scene towards the beginning of the movie where Batman is trying to apprehend some criminals and the police come down on him and he gets totally hammered by them, and narrowly escapes with his life like in the Phantasm movie. And then Gordon comes in screaming saying he didn't authorize this sting by Bullock and the SWAT or whomever.

i do agree with what you have said, and i have seen BB. however i think the third one will maybe bring back the feelings of guilt for Bruce. His failure to save the love of his life and Gothams saviour could bring all those old memories and feelings of guilt over his parents death back. Then a visit to their grave asking for forgivness or inspiration in this time of need.
