Okay, so a few months ago I was playing through all of the MGSs trying to unlock everything. At the time, I had no issues with playing the games on my PS3. Anyway, I played through MGS3, got all of the unlockables, saved the data, and stopped.

Recently, I wanted to play through again. But when I tried to load my game, the system failed to load the internal memory card. Tried several times and no luck. So I decided to just suck it up and play through again and get everything. However, when I tried saving the game, I had the same problem. The system wouldn't save my data.

Now, I went to the Memory Card Utility at the PS3 Dashboard. I have plenty of space on the hard drive, and it says my MGS3 file is still there. But I can't load or save anything for the game.

It's pissing me off.

Huh, strange. Is there any corrupted data on your internal memory card? Corrupted PS2 data stopped me from playing ANY PS2 games for a while.

How do I tell if a file is corrupt? The only PS2 data I have on my PS3 is my MGS3 file.
