In pro golf, do you guys think it's fair...

That marshals find balls that are hit by the pros in the rough and then sometimes even mark them with stakes? If you guys and I go play golf and hit it in the trees or in the rough we usually have no idea where it went and have a five minute limit to find them. I really don't think it's fair, especially with this U.S. Open.
 
Hit it in the fairway and you won't have that problem. :oldrazz:
 
I imagine it's more to keep the continuity of the game, as well as helping to move things along; let a guy work his way out of the exact position he got himself into, as opposed to getting a decent drop somewhere and taking the stroke (if that's the applicable rule). Seeing those guys trying to get out of some of those shots is priceless.

I could use a marshal to hunt down some of my errs. Some days, using the day glo/neon hued balls just doesn't get it. :ninja:

don't hit it over there then.....kidding, kidding....well you and your 3 friends on some track is a LOT different than the US Open
