I finally got a scanner so I figure I'll show off some of my work.

Good stuff. I really like the stylised feel to it. I'd really like to see some more of it.

Pretty good drawings.

Thanks I've been a little lazy lately I need to post some more art.

I like your cartoon style. It feels spontaneous and flowing.

Thanks I have a fun project I 'll be sharing pretty soon that I'm currently working on.

If this is freehand drawing - may I be so bold as suggest investing of Light colored pencils such as RED, or BLUE - in this case do your primary "sketch" in these colors and only use the darker pencils when you are satisfied with the outcome - When you scan you can then actually phase out the red/blue or whatever with contrast editing - you'll get only the dark lines then less smudges and excess mess - also for curves of course get "French Curves"
anyways just my 2 1/2 cents worth

Yes this is freehand.I personally feel that the tighter you are with your pics. The more character you lose, and it becomes stifferSo lately I've been looking for a way to keep the flowingness and freeness of my original pencils.Sometimes I use colored pencils to build, but I don't really use them often, but I agree that it would beneficial to use colored pencils. but lately I've been inking my work with a regular ball point pen.So I don't really scan my pencils anymore. After that I scan it and color it.

I've been experimenting lately with new techniques, and I find the Scanner to be very useful when making mistakes. For example the Frank & Nos piece is basically 5 different pieces Frankensteined together.
I appreciate all the advice, and shall take it into consideration.Thanks.

If pencils are done really well photoshop can do a basic inking job in like a minute however you'd still need to do some feathering of images and fills - However to do stuff like that you'd need to know basic To moderate photoshop also coloring can be super easy in it - but expensive software

You know they have touch screen monitors now you could actually free-hand draw on the monitor like using a blunt stick though they can be a bit expensive - you might be able to buy used ones from companies cheap (like they used for cashiers)

I know I've been having thoughts about investing in a Tablet.
