Hey guys,

Thought I'd wish you all the best on America's greatest holiday. A tradition our family has here in Georgia every year is to go to the Laser Show at Stone Mountain.

Here's a couple of clips of my favorite parts of the show...

What do you do every year?

Happy Independence Day, my fellow Americans! Beer, barbecue, and colorful explosions for us all!

Happy 4th! Hope you all have fun and stay safe.

I live literally 15 miles from a Fireworks store. That's part of why I go to Stone Mountain on the 4th. I don't want to be home when the fireworks fall on my house.

I don't sleep every year on the 4th, because of all the jackasses that decide to blow things up. One of my least favorite holidays.

I find the lack of an alien invasion disgusting and crappy :cmad:

Happy America Day!

What's up with that? No superheros or alien invasions this weekend at the movies? We have to go see werewolves making out with vampires.

Look at what's happened to me. I can't believe it myself. Suddenly I'm on top of the world, it should have been someone else. Believe it or not I'm walking on air, I never thought I could feel so free--Flying away on a wing and a prayer...Who could it be? Believe it or not, it's just me...Greatest American Hero all day today on SyFy. What a great country we live in!!!

Happy Fourth my fellow Americans!

Good morning. Good morning. In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join others from around the world, and you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. Mankind, that word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences any more. We will be united in our common interest. Perhaps it's fate that today is the 4th of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom. Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution, but from annihilation. We're fighting for our right to live, to exist and should we win the day, the 4th of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day when the world declared in one voice, 'We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on, we're going to survive.' Today we celebrate our independence day!

Now go barbecue something!

I'm locked in to SyFy right now. I might pop in Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut tonight though.

It's been a looooooong time since I saw Greatest American Hero. Just goes to show you how good superhero show can be with good acting.

I hear great things about the show...Way before my time, but, I'll try to see if I can catch a few episodes in my spare time.

I love the fact that he's terrible at flying and screams like he's actually afraid of heights. I know if I were to wake up with superpowers, I'd be scared to death to try flying. It was more realistic at times than some of the superhero stuff now.

America!

I love the 4th of July, especially since it offends soooooo many of the "delicate" types nowadays! Beer, BBQ, Fireworks and Family! Happy 4th!

Do we have to bring political jabs into a 4th of July thread? My Christian, atheist, Republican, Democrat, gay, straight friends are all firing up their grills right about now...

Currently I'm playing the new Batman game. Nothing else planned for the day

I'm gonna slap a british person and steal from a Native American in celebration. :o

picked up ID4 on blu ray for super cheap gonna watch that later tonight on the big 50" oh yeah :D

So there were a lot of sirens down the road and I went to take a look. Some kid blew his hand up. The index finger was the only one he had left.

Fireworks are popping off all over by me. My roommates poor dogs are hiding back by my room. I tried to see if they wanted to go to the bathroom real quick but they're not having it. They must think this is the end of days
