This one is more based off of Superman Returns and the Batcave IMO.

Primarily why I liked the old one better. It had a better design. This looks like he just left all his crap laying around in random places.

It basically looked like a bunch of crystals sticking out of stone walls. It wasn't much of a fortress, either, considering Blackrock just barged in without any trouble at all.
