I think you're missing the point. The day doesn't celebrate the caps lock key but to campaign for it's removal.

There's a guy on another forum who's every post is caps locked.

Some gimmick etc or back story I am not privvy to but it's not as bad as it seems at first.

Cannot say I am tempted in the slightest to even do so on any unofficial "day" for it.
