Thougts anyone?

Upon examination, most of the people there are single mums.....

funny stories?

My dad met his current girlfriend through an internet dating service.

there's such a stigma attached to it though, is it really full of people like the rumours say :(

It's a lot more common and accepted nowadays. I wouldn't have a problem with it if the site was reputable.

here's a joke someone told me today

"What so good about having sex with twentysix year olds?"

"there's 20 of them"

Made me laugh for at least ten minutes. Thought I'd share

Internet dating gave me AIDS.

I personally think that would've been funnier if you'd just said 'internet dating gave me a virus'.

And I, of course, am biased on the subject of internet dating.

Whoa. Where have you been?

Internet dating has a lot of stigma attached to it. "What if you meet a weirdo?" "What if they're nothing like what they said?" First of all, internet dating has been around for years and there just isn't any evidence that slaughtering psychopaths are more rampant online. Second, people being nothing like what you imagined happens in traditional dating just as often. All in all, internet dating has the same drags and regular dating, ...but if you find that one person, all of its perks as well.

So go ahead; go for it. It's nice to be able to preview people, an advantage that traditional dating does not have. People tell volumes about their personalities and priorities by the look and feel of their profiles.

I dated Honey Vibe over the internet for 11 years. Then we met in person. She shot me and stole my belt. I was hurt, both physically, and emotionally... so I took out my revenge on Zenien and stalked her until she died of overstalk.

But it never got me back my belt. Oh Honey Vibe. :csad:

I know a few people that have met through such. Two of which married them.

I went on eHarmony and filled out thier 436 questionaire and paid the $60...All I got was 4 matches and not one of them had a picture...thier picture was listed as "I'll show it later" I canceled thier service.

What is it with you and meeting people over internet?

How about catching feelings from someone at a message board?

Haha..I like how it's officially dead after asking this question.

I think those drunk driving with cars full of beer and wine and stuff are funny as hell..yeah
