Oh boy.Ridiculous. Listening to it on the radio isn't stealing. The big guys control the radio stations.
I'll give you a hint as to why you are wrong-wrong-wrong.
It's all about who's in charge, who owns the rights and who has the authority to say how the property is used.
That "someone" is definitely not a greasy little leech in his basement.
If someone owns a song, they can say,
"Yeah, use the song in your movie...HERE'S HOW I'LL EXPECT TO BE REIMBURSED.
Sure, play our song on the radio. HERE ARE THE CONDITIONS.
Sure, download this, this and this song for free. IF YOU WANT THE OTHERS, YOU HAVE TO BUY THE ALBUM.
or
Sure, take the whole album for free. ENJOY."
THEY produced it, so THEY should decide, not millions of people all over the world who literally had NOTHING to do with the production of the art.
If T.H.E.Y. are not offering it for free, but you take it anyway, then you just stole it.
If a company is doing a promotion where they give out a free Bic shaver to the first 100 people to respond, that doesn't mean that you can go into your local market and take all the Bic shavers, and then say, "Hey, you can get 'em free here and here and here, so I'm taking these."
Don't play stupid.
