How will the overall layout of the RPG be?: Season by season, multiple storylines, the usual.
Premise of RPG, if it is a user created RPG see below for applicable additions to this Applicaton, (Must be a paragraph or longer).
The year is 2223, and humanity has just colonized its first planet outside of its own solar system. The United Earth Union, which is the governing body of a united people of Earth, has already established thriving colonies on Earths moon, a terraformed Mars, and under water colonies under the sheet of ice on Jupiters moon of Europa. But a short twenty years ago, humanity discovered the ability to create and manipulate wormholes, giving us the ability to travel across vast regions of space quickly.
During an expedition into deep space, a manned UEU spacecraft discovered an Earth-like planet, dubbed Providence, and plans immediately went into effect for colonization. People lined up in droves to move to the new planet, and UEU military leaders quickly established a strong presence in the planets solar system, including the brand new capital battle cruiser EUS Deliverance.
A few short months after Providence development began, humanity made first contact with alien life when the Xu(pronounced Zoo) race made contact to the military vessels patrolling Providence space. The Xu's technology was vastly ahead of humanity's, but they quickly signed a treaty with the humans, guaranteeing peace and cooperation.
Now, fifteen years after the first settlers set up on Providence, humanity is poised to extend their reach further into the galaxy, but they will learn that not all aliens come in peace.
Basically, what I'm going for on this one is the Create a Hero RPG mashed together with the Star Wars/Trek RPGs.
What will this RPG bring to the RPG forums? (please write two complete sentences): This will bring an opportunity for the players of the Hype to shape their own sci-fi drama. The Hype is missing a lot of player created universes, and this gives the opportunity for one.
