Inyuyasha when's this over?

It's summer time and I've been watching waaay too much adultswim and I was wondering; How does Inyuyasha end? Is the manga done yet?

I forgot how annoying Naraku is. :

The shows already ended. Episode 150, or so, left us with a cliff hanger that continues in the redundancy that is the manga. The manga is on chapter 500 so far and thats pretty much because the same thing happens over and over with almost no rhyme or reason. Characters act shocked when something said before is said again and the plot is pretty much a copy and paste of previous ones. Honestly, its best just to give up on this.

geezus, they should just make a final movie with them defeating naraku and inuyasha and kagome getting together already!

Nope. Naraku runs away when he's about to be defeated (as always.) And Inuyasha is still torn between Kikyo and Kagome.
You'd think instead of finding new ways to kill Naraku, they'd find ways to keep him from running.

The anime ends before she dies. But when she does, it angers Sesshomaru and he goes beserk when Miyomarou bad mouths her.

So far in the manga:

Kagura is dead.
Sesshoumaru is sans Tokijin. Destroyed by Mori.
Um, Tenseiga was basically just an extention of Tetsusaiga, there for, it pretty much doesn't work, and now Tetsusaiga is all powerful.
Umm, Rin died again, and Sess had to go to hell to get her back. This is when we meet Sesshoumaru's mother. They look just alike.
Kikyou is dead. Killed by Naruku.
Naraku has all but one shard, that would be Kohaku's shard, who happen's to be travelling with Sesshoumaru right not. And Kikyou purified his shard before she died.
Kanna is dead.
Sango's Hirakotsu was destroyed, and had to be remade.
Miroku is dying.Shippou is still shippou.
And now Scooby and the gang are being hunted by the Evil intent of the Shikon no Tama


And that's about all I can remember right now.

I though Kagura and Kanna were apart of Naraku so how can they die.

Basically Suicide. Naraku sent her out, with the intention of killing her in the process. Something about getting hit by some thingy Tetsusaiga does now. Dragon scaled Tetsusaige, if I'm not mistaken. Everytime he hit the Naraku incarnation that was sent with her, she got the hit instead of the incarnation. It was ******ed. She did it willingly, though she didn't want to die. (that's what I gathered anyways.) I think she gave the Inu gang some info on Naraku as well.

WTH why does Rin go to hell?

Sesshoumaru's mother sends her ther to see if he'd go after her. It was a test from his father I do believe, in order to gain a power for the Tenseiga.

I though Kagura and Kanna were apart of Naraku so how can they die.

They are, but just as every incarnation that was a part of Naraku, that the others fought and defeated, they were destroyed also. So why wouldn't they be able to die? They didn't have hearts, per se, but they were living, breathing beings with souls. The panel when Kagura died was actually a very touching scene.

Oh yeah... Kouga no longer has his shards, and has this claw thing he fights with.

I think Prima doubts Miroku's going to die, but he might aswell. He's the most broken character in the series, so much so that the author gave him a BS weakness so Inuyasha wouldn't be upstaged.

The manga is suppose to finish it off.

And I've heard that the ending will be something like this.
They beat Naraku and get the shinkon jewel. And instead of Inuyasha becoming a demon of human. Kagome is going to use it to become a half demon. And stay with him in the feudal era.

And if ya think of it that makes herself her own grandmother.

good question, couple years? Going back and forth all over feudal Japan because Kagome has to go through the well and take an exam or something. You'd think she'd drop out or get expelled by now.
