iPhone or Droid?

I'll probably be getting a new cell phone today, but I can't seem to decide between an iPhone 4 and one of the newer versions of the Droid (I currently have the first one released by Motorola). So I thought I could bring it to you, to hear from actual people who own these phones. I want to hear the pros and cons of each.

Droid for sure. Much more user-friendly than an iPhone, in my opinion.

And if you have an iPod what's the point of an iPhone?

Droid 3 if you must right now. If you cant wait a month or so wait for the Bionic or Samsung to announce the GSII.

iPhone has more apps, but droid is open source which means that you can get cooler apps than Apple will let you, since they won't approve them for the app store. For example, you can tether your laptop to your phone and use 3G for free if you have an android since they have apps for it, but with Apple you have to pay for it as an additional service. Also, there are emulators, which you can't get for your iPhone.

I own an iphone 4 and it's easily one of the best pieces of technology I've ever owned.
I know someone who has experience with most phones out there because he sells them so owns a variety of models. He recommends the iphone above anything else as well.

If you don't get an iPhone, the best bet is the Windows Phone 7. If I ever switched from iPhone that's where I would go.

That said, the iPhone 4 is a fantastic phone and it's getting another software update this fall to make it even better.

Depends what the better deal is, I don't see the point in committing so much money and years in contract for an iPhone which doesn't really do anything more than any other phone can do. I find iPhones as with more apple products to be overpriced considering what they are offering.

I would say go for the Nokia N8 but if I had to choose either iPhone or Droid then by all means I would say DROID.

They're more for corporate use, hence why I got one. The touch phones are more for the kids to me, man. I'm trying to grow her up.

I kind of prefer droid iPhone no doubt is a really good phone the touch on the droid however sucks compared to the iPhone

The Iphone is for anybody really but it mostly appeals to kids and hipsters.

Not a bit fan of my droid. It's kinda slow and sluggish.

Iphone for sure. Droid offers many free apps, but i think its more open to viruses.
