iPods Have Hit a Wall

meh give me a cassette player any day of the week, how many songs does someone really need on a trip anyway...

:o

The next iPod is due in January.

The Zune is looking pretty average and the article says...

'And the cell phone industry, which has struggled to find a music-playing hit, may have finally produced a bona fide contender with LG's Chocolate.'

The LG Chocolate sucks.

People are still buying iPod (even when it has less features and battery life than other pmp devices) simply because of the brand.

LOL! That was hilarious. I just got an iPod video, and I love it, and don't regret the purchase for a minute. Maybe in a year or so, should Apple release the 6G, I'll buy it.

i've got a 30 gig video and i left it at home today....i miss it. and i tunes is jsut so damn handy.

I just stick to my old 256MB MP3-player. That's an average of at least 60 songs. How much more do I need?

Say what you want, but the iPods are the most reliable for my money. I've owned a 4G iPod, iRiver, Creative, my brother had a toshiba, and one of my co-workers has a Dell one. I've had my iPod longer and it's still running great. Every other one has had hardware problems....drive failures, screen problems, etc. I'll stick with dependability over a few more frills.

Ipods are crappy pieces of junk. I have a real MP3 player, the Creative Zen micro.

You need enough capacity to carry all your music in MP3 form on your hip. All of them illegally downloaded of course. Because downloading communism rules!

there is nothing more dependable than a cassette player:mad:

I've had the same CD player for 4 years now. And it works as good as the day I bought it.
I've even thrown it against the wall out of anger(not at it) And nothing happened to it.
I have one MP3 player, and that's my PSP, but I barely use it.

i hate ipods as mine was rubbish 8 hours of play more like 10mins-30, they suck.

Now Creative Zens they are soooo much better i am happy with that more then those stupid ipods.

im pretty sure alot of people would buy an ipod over another mp3 even if the other one is better/cheaper.. just cuz they wanna be cool!

I can't wait to hear all the Apple haters start talking about how awesome the Microsoft Zune (code-name "Thick-As-A-Brick") is when it's released. That's gonna be pure comedy.

jag

i have a dell jukebox, its really good, had it more then a year and works great

seee all 3 of my friends ipods broke within a year, so i laughed at them when my dell surpassed their little ipods

I love my Creative Zen :)
I saw in the newspaper an add for Circuit City( or one of those places).
You can get an 8mb creative Zen for 179.99, then next to it was a add for a 4MB ipod for the "low price of $249.99".
I'll take the Zen please:up:

Yeah I have a dark blue 8 GB (wish I could've gotten it as cheap as the one you saw, but mine was still a better deal than an ipod) one that stores music and pictures. Lots of space and I really like the way it looks as well.
