I kid you not. In the movie Diane Keaton is watching the MSNBC program and the stock ticker at the bottom shows "Stark Industries". Did this guy film the segments for these movies at the same time or is it just a rehash of the one they filmed for Iron Man.

I call BS on this one.

Why would I make something as stupid or obscure as this up?! How come people are so quick to DISMISS something because they can't prove it. Myabe since you can't prove it you should give the poster the beneift of the doubt. I'd post a screen shot, but I already sent the movie back to NetFlix. I realize it'a a stretch, but does anyone else have the movie where they can grab a shot (or maybe your girlfriend has the movie)?

There are 2 explanations.

1) You made it up.

-or-

2) You are mistaken.

I think #2 is more likely, and since it's a 50/50 chance of being true at this point, I'll stick with my original post.

But who knows.

My girlfriend actually rented it last night, so I've got the DVD here. Around what time in the movie does it happen?

Found it.

Unfortunately I can't say what time. Diane Keaton is watching after all her money problems start and she is getting ideas now that's she working in the Federal Reserve. "Mad Money" comes on MSNBC and the guy is doing all his sound effects, etc. If you watch the ticker at the bottom it says Stark Industries.

THANK YOU! To the original posters, it's nice to see that pessimism is alive and well in America. Thanks for calling me a liar and thanks to WallCrawl for allowing me to say:

I TOLD YOU SO!!!

Not the most mature of statements or reactions, but neither was the poster saying I was full of BS. I'm not a bigger man.

Or

3) I'm right (which I am). I love how you couldn't even entertain the notion that I may be right. If the shoe were on the other foot I would have no reason to doubt you unless I could prove it.

If I were you, I'd put the doubters on my ignore list.

Ahhh vindication! :):):)

Nice one....good find.

did Favreau direct this film too?

That TV show was in Iron Man. Looks like it could be a photoshop. Still don't know why anyone would make up something so stupid.

OMG! I'm trying to figure out if you're being serious! This was not photoshopped. The absurity of this all is that this would be in "Mad Money". Why do you think I saw fit to mention it here! Strangest thing I've ever seen (in the context of the movie). Why would I lie?!

On the one hand I dont know why someone would make something up like that.

On the other hand, if that was a still from YOUR tv then it should have a scan bar, as crt tvs have those when you take a picture of them.

I'd say its 65 / 35 that it's real.

That is not a picture of the TV playing the movie. That is an actual screen capture from whatever DVD player WallCrawl has on his computer. Notice the black bars at the top and bottom. That TV is the TV in the movie. THAT IS THE ACTUAL SCENE FROM THE MOVIE!

No kidding?! Having seen Iron Man three times I guess I missed that part (insert sarcasm here). The show was also in "Mad Money" (MSNBC's Mad Money in a movie titled "Mad Money" - Wierd). It was a different segment in Iron Man than in Mad Money which is why I am wondering Stark Industries shows on the ticker. Did unused stock footage from Iron Man make it into the movie or DVD release?

I have a 720p (as in progressive, not interlaced) TV, the interlaced fields you're talking about are nonexistent. Especially considering I popped the DVD into my PC to take the screencap.

This is getting ******ed. I initially didn't believe TheWebline either and went looking for a screencap to prove him wrong, but now I'm having my integrity questioned all because he's right.

Join the club. I post a simple interesting trivia fact which is downright weird and all I get are accusations about how I'm making something stupid up. Well, at least we know we're right. Boy that'll help me sleep tonight ;-) One would think that WallCrawl having 13000+ posts would garner some sort of credibility.
