Colan had a way of making the eyes look so dramatic. That was, I think, the big goal around the office to make all the angst of the character come out of a mask that doesn't move. I think I could tell a Colan Iron Man just from the mask.

I do believe those Iron Man covers [#19 and up] were by George Tuska, and not Gene Colan. I loved Gene's Iron Man, but I think his last issue was #1.

Bubbadoom, I guess you're right. Number 18 looks like a John Buscema. Cool cover. I think it's too slick looking to have been brother Sal's. But I've been wrong before.

Yeah, imo if Fu Manchu...eh, Mandarin was Iron Man's greatest foe, then he needs better rogue gallery.

That one looks like a George Tuska (anatomy) with a bit of Romita Sr.(mask, shading) touch up on it. That's my guess.

Well it seems that over the years they have reconfigured the character decently... Anyone read "Enter the Mandarin", how'd that pan out?

IM looks like its going to be a decent film but its probably just gonna turn out like transformers. Lots of needless/cheesy comedy that ruins alot of scenes and maybe the whole movie...
