Iron Man Iron Man TV Series

Along time ago I heard/saw/read a rumor about a live action Iron Man series. If I remember correctly it was going to start with a back-door pilot Hulk movie (DareDevil, Thor) right before "Death of the Incredilbe Hulk." It was suppose to use a modified/painted verison of the armor used in the old "Super Force" series. But it was cancelled for whatever reason.

Was this an actual thing/rumor or was it something I created in my own warped mind?

You're right. The producers of the old 70's Hulk series were planning on making a movie with Iron Man as a character in the story. It was scrapped for being too expensive to produce.

Cringing at the mere thought of ever having that happen to Iron Man. Thankfully it didn't and we didn't get a series until if memory serves correct: the 90s.

Still you have to think about what could have been for Iron Man. We would have seen a toned down version ala Daredevil.

don't forget the t special effects tech then wasn't as it was today shellhead 's powers wouldn't look as good

Yeah I think I read that "Iron Man" would not have had flight but would have used the same motorcycle from Super Force. Also they would have used lightning like effects from his hands kinda like the eposide of Thor. I also remember reading the plot would go...... someone was attempting to destroy the research of the company that Banner was working for and at the same time Stark was trying to buy. Stark would go after the Hulk thinking he was some kind of freak sent by the bad guys and of course after realizing he wasn't, they would team up to fight the real freaks sent to destroy the company.

Then again that could have been something else, but I am sure I remember reading that a long time ago.

Well they can do Robocop and Blade on TV, I'm pretty sure they can do IRON MAN as easily as I did.
