Has anyone tried this stuff before ? It is supposed to let you put your own pictures / logos on to shirts by yourself

Yeah, its not great. Usually only good for a dozen washes if you're lucky.

I did this for a few girls in my class lol

I drew cartoon versions of each of them, scanned the pictures onto the paper, bought cheap t-shirts and gave them out just before we left school.

They liked them, but told me the picture peeled off pretty quickly.

You'd be better off going to a professional, if you want a shirt with something more permanent.

I bought a pack a few weeks ago for some reason, not sure why. Haven't used any yet.

They were cool when I was in 7th grade. They're too glossy looking. Better off just finding a silk screening store or use an online one.

I've used them for several years.
DON'T PUT A FINISHED SHIRT IN THE DRYER.....EVER!!!! hang them up to dry.
It's true that they will begin to fade bit or slightly crack (depending on the transfer used) but they should last you quite a while if you don't put them in the dryer. It's the dryer that ruins them.
Also, don't do any design that's too large. Stick to about 1/4 of a page or slightly larger.
Follow the directions to the letter. Print on the right settings, round your corners, use something solid under the shirt when ironing and put a good amount of pressure on it (i use as much of my body weight/force as i can).
Pay special attention to edges/corners when you are ironing.

I have shirts that have lasted and still look good after over a year. I even have one from about 6 years ago that, while pretty faded, still looks ok.

I did this back in fifth grade and completely forgot about it.

HAHA the April Fools prank makes this thread priceless.
