Is anyone tired of getting popups on tv now?

I'm watching tv and get popups during commercials for Lexus through the cable provider. Then on another other commercial I get popups for on demand. I'm like

I have never had this happen but it sounds very annoying.

Anything that is not part of the program I'm watching is annoying.

Don't have a smart TV so I don't have to suffer through this.

I know of them but besides seeing them at a friends house who has cable or *cough* alternate ways of viewing shows *cough* I never deal with them since I don't have cable.

I rarely watch traditional television anymore either and this is one more reason to continue not doing so.
