i heard of DC way back in like 2000 or 2001. when he first had that stand up on comedy central.

I listen to O&A radio show and they have a barrage of stand up comedians always on, Louis CK, Joe Rogan, Stephen Lynch, Louis Black just to name a few. In the comedy circle, it's common knowledge that Cook is a hack.

yeah cause the guy from fear factor always knows what he's talking about.


I've heard of al lthose names except that Ck guy.

He's just pissed someone is more famous then him and his material is working better for another person.

Well that's open to arguement.

But honestly, you support Cook even if he did steal his material because he's more successful?

In an interview on the Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show in February 2007, C.K. stated that while the jokes are similar, the issue was "overblown" and may stem from a backlash against Cook's popularity. However, C.K. accused Cook of being "bullyish" and litigious towards comedians for having similar material to his. He also stated "Too bad the guy [Cook] can't write enough". C.K. ended the interview by saying, "F' Dane Cook, he's a c**t."

I listend to O&A pre Jimmy and while Jimmy is funny, I do appreciate when he's not in the studio on a gig or something. And it's funny how so many celebrities are familiar with him. They had Ed Norton on and he knew Norton's material.

I saw Dane Cook at the Hollywood Improv about 6 years ago and he was doing the same routine he's doing now, except back then it was at least a little funny...

Carlos Mencia isn't funny though.
