Is it over for DC comics?

...

That might explain why I stayed with Bruce Jones' Hulk run! :wow:

Well, up until that ******ed Absorbing Man arc. That was the final straw. :o

same. Had a friend that raved about it, so I picked it up. Didn't get it, but kept reading until that horrible, horrible arc.

at least the abomination fight was mildly cool, but it took so.%$#@ing.long. to get to

Little known fact is, that fight is still going on right now.

Yeah, I thought it was decent at first. I continued picking it up in hopes that things would pick up and start to get wrapped up, but it just kept becoming more and more of a mess.
Sort of like what the X-Files turned into in it's last few seasons. :o

DC had their chance. They weren't using him. I mean, why the f**k wasn't he on Batman? I ask you?
That's why I want him back. :csad:

Morrison can take his future Disco suit Batman and his Batmen of all Nations and scribble on subway walls. :cmad:

Today's issue of Batman was pretty sweet, so I'll take that over a shoehorned retcon or a useless death, thanks.

Even if the shoehorned retcon and "useless" death was one of the best comic books in recent memory?:o

Wow, I would most assuredly NOT go that far.

I would, the Winter Soldier arc is probably one of the best written comics in the last 5 years, and the Death of Cap was probably the best single issue of a comic I've read in the last year or so.

In a related story, Marvel can have the Kuberts back.

Actually, 2 Kuberts for 1 Brubaker, and we'll throw in Aquaman.

Hell no son. At this point, why would Brubaker want to go back, think about it.

I don't care what he wants. :cmad:

Though I am looking forward to getting his DD and Cap trades.

Except that I've been looking forward to them for a while now and haven't got around to buying them. :lazy:

Considering all the great books that have come out in the past year, those two wouldn't even make my top 10. But that's me.

Welcome to the internet.

DC rocks.Story wise, its been beating Marvel. But Marvel brainwashes people to buy their works.

I like this ficticious argument,

Marvel books are like 'Magic Eye'. Joey Q's face is lightly sprinkled on each page, and over the course of each issue he says something subliminal like, "Wolverine is mega-hot right now, that's why we put him in every book...so you should buy every book Wolverine is in, or else you're not really a Marvel fan."

or

"Brian Michael Bendis is the greatest writer since C.S. Lewis. Appreciate how good he is by buying every book he writes because he only lives once and you're missing out."
