Finally had my endoscopy yesterday morning, and despite some rough starts, (being late, them being unable to find the vein in my arm at first), it went surprisingly well. The actual procedure only lasted about five minutes, which was nice. Also helped that the nurses were so kind. They found nothing wrong.

Got to go home after 30 minutes later, didn’t have any pain or side effects for the most part, but was drowsy when I got home.

Glad to know you got through it okay and all is well.:)

I've been watching some fitness videos and a guy made a "healthy" version of a hamburger by using slices of iceberg lettuce as the buns, and I just don't get it.

If you want to eat a hamburger, eat an actual hamburger, which requires buns. If you are cutting out carbs in your diet, then make something else with the same ingredients (taco salad with the meat, lettuce and tomatoes and onions is still a very tasty meal).

I would agree. Lettuce is a poor substitute for a nice toasted bun.

Julia Child actually made hamburgers in the French way which eliminated the bun and put it in a red wine sauce.
