Pizza Hut, Domino's and other franchises come up with gimmicks for their new inventions, but the one mainstay has always been some new type of New York-style pizza, whereas Domino's has the "Brooklyn Style" pizza, Pizza Hut had that "New Yorker style" pizza, and so forth. I've had pizzas from the east coast, and pizza from here in Chicago, and I'll take ours any damn day of the week, man. :o

I didn't think Pizza had a distentive taste depending on the region. It all tastes the same to me.

I love pizza from NYC! :D

I prefer the thicker Chicago-style pizza over the thinner NY pizza.

Well, I like it. I particularly like to go to my favorite authentic New York pizza place any time I'm in the city.

I guess because pizza started in NYC and they have a way of doing it there. But yeah, I love the pizza here in Chicago it's more fulling.

Pssh, forget the city, I get my pizza from the Bronx. It's cheaper and it tastes better.

Its good, and its pizza, anybody who tries to argue that cheese and sauce tastes magically better when present in double the amount and crammed into a single "chicago style" pizza is dumb. Just eat two slices :oldrazz: Its the same

Now I really fancy some tasty pizza. Thanks, Terry. :cmad:

...a ham and pineapple thin crust, with dips.
*drools*
I would say I haven't had one in too long, but I indulged in a meaty pizza last night. But then again, that is too long :(

yeah, i thought chicago deep dish pizza was also famously good?

I like weird pizza. My favourite is pineapple and sausage :S. Screw ham!

I'll take Chicago Deep Dish.

Damn, that sounds good. In Chicago we've got Pizzeria UNO, Gino's East, and Giordano's.

You're killing me here :waa:

Nothing worse than people talking about good food and being broke.

I've not been to Uno's yet. When I had family up in Chicago (Des Plaines to be exact), there was a pizza place near my grandma's apartment. I think it was called Jake's. Great pizza there but it's since closed and my family either moved away or died. Since then, my folks haven't been up to Chicago in about 11 years and I just haven't found a good time to take a road trip.

Jimmy's is a lifesaver for me with the dogs, Italian Beef, and pizza.
