Superman Returns Is Superman a home wrecker?

Technically you should make this a poll...

Right off I wanna say NO, but it depends on how they handle "getting rid" of Richard...if he gets "pushed out" b/c Lois loves Supes too much, or by SUpes wooing of Lois away form Rich (which I don't think he'd do) then yes, homewerecker. If Richard dies or leaves of his own volition, then NO SUperman won't be a home wrecker.

Really this is a question that will be answered by SR2...

Easy there Kal...it's a legit question given the circumstances

Ok.

I say no because We all know that Lois is still in love with him. And When he comes back she remembers why she loved him in the first place. Also We all know Lois will end up with Clark/SUPERMAN in the end. And that Jason is his son .

So No Superman is not a home wrecker .

No idea. I don't know how the whole Lois/Richard/Superman thing turns out.

There ya go :D

I'd be inclined to agree with you...I don't see SInger handling this in a way that would villify Supes...

I'll give an opinion after watching the film. In the meantime, I voted: I think he should throw Richard off a bridge so he doesn't look like a jerk.

LMAO....most people voted, "I don't care. What kind of dumb-@$$ poll is this anyway?"

There's something terribly wrong with this sentence. LMAO
That's where my vote went

Watch the film. He is no homewrecker.

You know whats gonna be funny...when the end of SR comes and it turns out the HUGE PLOT TWIST Singer promised is that there is NO Richard, there is NO kid, Superman never left and...

the entire movie was all a dream!!

That would be the best plot twist ever. :D

The alleged twist hasn't been spoiled yet, has it?

Or is it
that the kid is Superman's
?

dunno...I think it's supposed to be the kid, but the reviews mention it, and i think WB would make them be tighter lipped about the twist if that WERE the twist...I'm hoping Singer has something else up his sleeve

Didn't we all (meaning most of us actually participating in this thread) actively participate in this debate when it cropped up in the already existing thread about the kid?

Because I'm pretty sure that happened, and I didn't dream it.

meh...we more or less kept it to the kid himself, not as much on the ramifications of the relationships...if you wanna get technical [shrug]

No, we didn't. I remember very specifically having to go round and round with YOU about the idea of him being a homewrecker.

come to think of it, we may have discussed it, but what's the point? Others have not had their input on the matter and so fangrl, being excited for the movie decided to illicit some discussion. So what if it's been brought up before...so have 800 other threads on the Hype

I´m tired of this argument... Let´s say Lois hooks up with Supes in the end... She´s an adult, it´s her decision. Of course Richard will remain part of her life, and he´ll always be the guy who helped her raise Jason for years... But it´s her decision. Should Lois spend her life being miserable, not being with the man she truly loves, cuz that´s "home-wrecking"? Last time I checked, this is the new millennium...
