I think it would be kind of cool to see Dolph Lundgred in the Punisher sequel. Be it a cameo, a small role, or hell even Jigsaw...though I can think of at least 5 actors better for the Jigsaw role. I don't know what he looks like now so that might effet my opinion on things but at least a cameo would be cool. I e-mailed the guy ( I do that to everyone LOL) and asked him what he thought. I'll post the response here a bit later in the week when I get it.

What do you thing?

Does anyone have a more recent pic of him?

Actually yes. SNIPER!!! Dolph would make a perfect Von Burian in my opinion. And guess what? The poor slob dpesnt even have to die his hair!

Hell yeah bring Dolph back. I saw the Punisher when it came out on Video when I was a kid and I loved every minute of it, it would not hurt to have him in the movie, one bit.

Sniper or Bushwacker. He could play either role. But when I saw the movie back in 89 being a devout fan of Pun I hated every minute of it. (except the casino scene)

Too bad Dolph never has and never will give a crap about the Punisher.

He seemed to in the interviews before the new film was released. LOL

Which interview was that? I remember one where they asked him if he saw the 04 movie and he's like "No, sorry, they'll remake anything these days, yadda yadda yadda."

Wait, him as Bushwacker sounds like a good idea.

I only remember him saying he hasn't seen it yet and that was it.

There was stuff before that which said he hated comic books and that he had a miserable time on the set of the 89 movie. I'll try digging it up another time.

I had a miserable time watching Dolphenstein playing Frank. How can a Scandinavian actor pull off the role of a dark and gritty Sicillian vigilante? Its like putting Thor in a Punisher costume.

He could have done a good job at that time. There was just no confidence in the comic book movie genre to take it seriously.

Considering the director said he didn't want the skull on the shirt because he would look to much like a comic book character. Uh...Hello stupid ass. Your source material is a friggin' comic book.

I just read somewhere that the producers originally wanted Michael Pare for the role of the Punisher. It would have been interesting to see him instead of a typical much-action actor such as Dolph. He would have fit for a younger Frank Castle.
