There really isn't a good way to do it. You could do it using enamel to fill in the space, sand it down to be flush with the rest of the coin, and then repaint the entire side of the coin. That is about it, though.
What really bothers me is that they felt it necessary to stamp 'COPY' on it in the first place. It's such a shoddy reproduction anyway...
On the left is a real silver dollar. On the right is, obviously, the copy included in the DVD pack.
I imagine they had to put "copy" on it for legal reasons. Although not perfect, it's close enough to the real thing that it might be considered under the law to be counterfeiting.
Oh yeah, anything that resembles modern currency must be stamped with copy. Such as play money for kids, its obsiouly plastic, but if you get someone who thinks its real, well you know.....You use play money there for your purchases. LOL.
But seriously, most coins that resemble anything a Gov. prints must say COPY on them, even chocolate "coin" money.
