Is there gonna be a movie adaptation?

I believe there was info on a novel somewhere in the movie boards, I think in the Hype thread. I doubt they'd make a comic adaption since the monthly was originally supposed to be released alongside the film before it was moved back.

Blade II did. There was a sort of prequel comic to the first movie, entitled "Sins of the Father", but no real adaptation.

That's what they did with the Man-Thing film, a three issue prequel comic that supposedly lead into the film.

I have yet to purchase those comics.

the Man Thing prequel comic was alot better than the movie....
wonder if that next GR mini series from Ennis will be based on a the ol west GR?
that would make an excellent prequel comic

It is. There are panels of it released already. BG perhaps means the next next one as we know they're doing several minis... or so was the plan a while ago anyway.

I liked the Man-Thing prequal and I liked the movie even though the title probaly should've been Swamp-Thing.
