EDIT: Ah, didn't see the big thread about this subject already.
First, I just want to say that I'm really excited for this movie. It's the #1 movie that I want to see this summer.
That said, I've gotten a feeling that they're trying to avoid showing the Nazis, maybe to be "politically correct" or whatever. In the publicity photos that I've seen, everyone from the foot soldiers to the Red Skull himself are dressed in generic black uniforms with the HYDRA symbol on them. Seems kind of strange to me, because the Nazis are real, iconically evil villains from history. And other movies from Indiana Jones to Inglourious Basterds have shown that you can use them without any problems, and that the audience enjoys seeing them beaten.
Maybe I'm wrong and haven't seen enough. But has anyone else gotten this feeling?
