Ock. Ain't. Dead.
Ock. Is. Dead.
He's called Doctor Octopus because of the metal arms, not the uncanny ability to breathe underwater like the underwater animal his name suggests.

He survived being drowned in his collapsing under water base in the Master Planner saga. So did Spidey come to that.
I love how all The Ock lovers KNOW that Ocks alive, but they tell all the Venom lovers that Venoms dead and all the Venom lovers say that Ock's dead, but they tell all the Ock lovers that Venom's alive.
THEY ARE BOTH DEAD!
Ock's alive, the lights from the tentacles are on when he's under water.
That is very possible considering the fact that Doc Ock isn't dead. I would love to see him return as well and I think he just might in another sequal. not Spider-man4 but Spider-man5 maybe or Spider-man6 (if they go that far). I think if He does return it should be for Spidey5.
I highly doubt that. There all going to come back for an eventual sinister Six movie. You can bet money on it. That way the character develpment is already there and the movie can become more action oriented.
The lights were on, then they shut off. He's dead.
it would be Venom because he died a villain, Ock didn't.
wow, I can't believe this debate is going on. IT'S ALREADY BEEN STATED THAT A VILLAIN FROM THE THIRD FILM WILL BE RETURNING IN THE FOURTH!!!!!!!!

so why the hell is everyone questioning who it is when it's more than obviously Venom. Christ, I can understand if you haven't read the article explaining this, but I thought that it's been made clear on this board already.
Venom will be in the 4th film, there's your answer
No its not obvious. Venom was destroyed. Its obviously the symbiote sample or Sandman returns to help Peter. The symbiote was the "4th Villian" so the symbiote sample is the most logical one.
