I don't want to see any villians come back to life that died in the movie. Personally, I feel it cheapens the experiences of prior movies (similiar to how I felt Uncle Ben's death Retcon). I think if handled correctly they can bring back the dead who remain dead...similiar to the way they did it with GG. Norman was dead, but his memory was still alive in Harry.

I said this in another thread a while ago and no one responded. It's so true. I think either way, making a proclamation for the future about who's dead or what's going to happen in a fictional medium is just asking to eat your words later. Doc Ock could come back, so could Venom. There. Check it out, you'll never be able to say I was wrong.

Ock's alive, the lights from the tentacles are on when he's under water. Venom was blown up. I think Raimi was referring to the Symbiote as the character that returns. Wouldn't be the first time he called the Symbiote a character!

There all going to come back for an eventual sinister Six movie. You can bet money on it. That way the character develpment is already there and the movie can become more action oriented.

Yeah, I watched 2.1 just a few minutes ago. They are on and then they turn off to show that he died. Plus if one of them was to come back it would be Venom because he died a villain, Ock didn't.

This is only my 3rd or 4th post, so forgive me if someone has said this already, but I said in another topic that if they were to go the route of The Lizard( which, I think, would be awesome) and use the symbiote sample as a means of Conner's regenerating, and it worked, couldn't the symbiote regenerate Eddie? Just wondering.

No its not obvious. Venom was destroyed. Its obviously the symbiote sample or Sandman returns to help Peter. The symbiote was the "4th Villian" so the symbiote sample is the most logical one.

It can't possibly be Sandman. The article said, "The big surprise in the FoxNews.com report is word that one character who appears to die in Spidey 3 might return for Spidey 4. "It turns out I may not be completely dead," the unnamed actor who plays the unspecified character revealed."

From that it can only mean either Harry or Venom. Harry's heroic death would be ruined if he returned, that whole emotional scene would mean nothing if his return is allowed. Venom was blown to bits. I can't imagine any way for him to come back, unless any left over piece of the symbiote is able to reconstruct Brock forming a clone, or some other similar explainations.

But since there's that word may in the quote, I think chances are 50/50 or perhaps even less.
