How to kill Goblins?

In Spider-Man, Green Goblin's glider impales him in the stomach...and supposedly, in Spider-Man 3, Harry (or the snowboarding, ninja Goblin) gets impaled during the last battle, by Venom...unless he gets impaled by something cool, like from Venom's tentacle (which I don't see happening), shouldn't he die from something else instead of an impalement? Like get his neck broken...or even have Venom pick him up and break his back (Bane breaking Batman's back made me think of this).

No, that would be a carnage thing to do.

As I understand it, venom just grants protection and "super powers" but is not able to morph into object such a carnage is.

Well this Eddie Brock is from the Ultimate version...and that Venom could shoot out tentacles...but, maybe they just mixed that with the webbing, which they made the webbing black...to look different from a white webstring, and to also make it look like his tentacles from Ultimate Spider-Man. And, yes, Carnage did do the tentacle stuff, from the other comics and in the cartoon, but I was talking about the Ultimate version...sorry I didn't explain that up there ^.

May I just say...ouch...dang, that's gonna be sick...and I'm glad to here Venom is gonna use his fist to do the impaling...I'm gonna like that scene.

No I doubt we'll see the tentacles while "venom" form. The extent I think we'll see might be the dripping back on to parker during the final fight while being choked or strangled. As to actually having tentacles that impale and stuff I doubt it, although it would be pretty slick to make it like and "last ditch, ultimate move" right before venom dies. Might as well combine elements of carange w/ venom because we will probably never see carnage on the screen.

I really don't care much for the ultimate venom as much visually speaking. I do however love the carnage iteration (although last I heard he was subject-less and was just a nightmarish glowing entity from hell).

....and getting impaled by a punch. That defines venom right there. Although harry should've invested in a better suit.

The only thing ultimate about him is that hes the same size as Peter. Also the scipt summary says he impales him with a beam(or some other object in the construction site, cant remember exaclty), not his fist.

he means brock's physical size is pretty much equal to parker's.
Venom is just a massive entitiy of goo, w/ flying tendrils everywhere. And ugly purple tint, rather than being black.
