What? He's fine! If he's skinny that's fine with me. They just got to make him look toned. That's all

People are acting like he look anerexic, and that is simply not the case. Yes, he is skinny. No, he is not too thin for the role. Tobey needed to be in better shape because Tobey's Parker was that way from the beginning. New Spider-Man, new looks, new set of rules. He can be skinnier.

Q: Andrew, what villain would you like to face off against in Spider-Man?

AG: Oh man, I love them all. I love Venom. Venom's pretty rad. You know, I love Doc Ock. I love The Green Goblin. I love The Vulture, I love The Kingpin. Ummmmm... Sandman. You know, I haven’t got a favourite, I'm kind of obsessed with all of them.

Q: Andrew, did you enjoy (500) Days Of Summer and what are your feelings about working with Marc Webb on Spider-Man?

AG: I wouldn't be doing this job if I didn't like (500) Days Of Summer.

I thought it was a wicked film, and I was so moved by it, and I thought it was so heartfelt and sweet and funny and unique.

It had a really unique voice to it, and it had the Han Solo moment, when he looks in the mirror, the musical number and him singing The Clash at the karaoke bar. I love the way it was shot.

I just found it to be so hip, and for our generation. And structurally really interesting. Yeah, I loved it, so I'm really excited to be working with Marc, because I feel like he has a truly unique voice, and something to express that I'm so excited to be a part of.

Well, at least he knows his rogues.

Wow...this debate seems ridiculous. He looks fine.

i'm not going to boycott the movie or any thing. I just want Spider-Man to be perfect, and quite honestly, with as little as we know, there isn't a whole lot else to talk about...

Does anybody know if hes signed on for more than one movie? Or if they plan on doing 3 or 6 movies? I didnt think this question was worth a new thread.

I believe it's three, I remember hearing he would get paid $500,000 for the first, a million for the second and two million for the third or something to that effect.

Quick interview where Andrew talks about the Reboot

Not much, but whatever

People people please stop complaining about this guy, I personally love that we will get a sleeker taller Spider-Man, if anything it will differentiate from Stub Man, er I mean Maguire Man, uh.. Raimi's Spider-Man.

He looks fine. His body type is more suited to playing Spider-Man/Peter than Tobey's was IMO. All he needs is to be put on a training regime to get more cut/buff and put on some extra muscle mass.

He will make a great Peter Parker/Spider-Man.... "the Wit Osborn.... First we attack (get) the Wit..." :cwink:

I think that in a Superhero movie the lead actor should at least look bigger than his female co stars, look at the pics. of Garfield st Parnassus primere, he looks thin.

Slag, you're better than this. :oldrazz:

That it exactly what I'm saying - he needs to put on a few extra pounds of muscle. Thats it. I'm not ripping on the guy, nor am i doubting his ability to act in a manner pursuant to Peter Parker's character. I'm just saying itd be better (IMO) if he added a few pounds of muscle.

true dat.

As for him being skinny guys; Spider-Man is supposed to be skinny. Puny Parker anybody..? Just because incarnations have shown him as being this muscle bound, six pack having superhero...that wasn't Stan Lee original premise for him. I remember Stan saying that he didn't want Spider-Man being muscular like the likes of Superman. Besides, his powers aren't based off of his muscular physique; his spider strength is based off of his proportionate strength like that of most insects/arachnids.

Who ARE these Amazon Chicks they have him working with???? :cwink:

Again, as I said, tall lanky and thin is fine for Peter, just add some training to bulk up/get more lean and cut, and he will be fine.
