I have already uninstalled and installed iTunes and I still receive this message when I connect my iPhone to my laptop. The phone itself is perfectly fine, I don't know why it needs to be restored. What should I do?

Which version of iphone?

Also I read that deleting a few files then reconnecting makes it try to do a full recheck and might work.

I downloaded this iFunBox thing and it works now. This was annoying though.

In related news, my Other is nearly 4GB. Where can I cut some of that down?

I know little of iAnything. :p
