J.K Rowling says, "please do not spoil my final book"

I allready know the ending: Timothy Hunter goes to the Dark Tower and finally destroys he-who-must-not-be-named (Randall Flag) and then he throws the ring into mount doom and all is saved, as he goes back to his friends who must now move on with their lives for greater adventures.

and Ginger Kids.

Do Ginger Kids have Souls?

Unfortunately no, Ginger Kids are born without souls. A common misconception is that you need a soul to survive. This is completely false. Ginger Kids are people just like everyone else, even if they don’t have souls. Many Ginger Kids live happy, healthy, productive lives devoid of any sort of soul.

If a Ginger Kid bites me what should I do?

If you have been bitten by a Ginger Kid immediately wash the wound with soap and water. If you have alcohol or peroxide apply it to the wound. Then call your local poison control for further assistance.

But seriously I love redheaded people. Some of my best friends are ginger. I am not a gingerist :hyper:

I never bothered to keep reading after the first three books. I couldn't see what all the fuss was about. Badly written, badly conceived, and bored me senseless. I wouldn't have read them at all but I was at my grandmother's house for two weeks, and after I'd read all my books I started on my sister's.

:wow: :wow: :wow:

I've nearly been lynched for these views before, but I honestly could not see what all the fuss is about, and I still can't. Wow. Its a book. Its alright. Nothing special. Why is everyone totally obsessed?

Damn you, did you not hear what Rowling said about spoiling the ending? :csad: :cmad:

Count me among those that just doesn't get the whole Harry Potter phenomenon. It's average to mediocre writing and story-telling at best and the films make me want to punch every emo kid with glasses I see. Really not worth all the excitement, but then again this is a society that loves Britney Spears, fast food and reality television. :down

Harry died a while back.....when he performed Equus during that theatre stint. Ooh, I'm bad. :o

I guess the reason I love the series so much is because it's a nice magical trip away from everyday life. I don't read much outside of school, so why not submerge myself into a world of magic when I'm supposed to be doing Immunology homework? :o

Same here. I hated the books, and the movies bored me as well.

Only reason I really watch them is because my grandmother loves them, and most of them were in theatres around her birthday, so since the entire family would be together for her birthday [and Thanksgiving] we'd go see the movie.

My grandma kicks ass, though.

I'd rather read some Laurell K. Hamilton.

Odd, I thought the books were far from boring. Easy read, and despite the length I finished them quickly because I couldn't put them down! I love the world that Rowling creates, and I think it's one that people of all ages can enjoy. They aren't very complicated, and it's nice to read that sort of fantasy. I read enough super complex material.

That broad better let other people write stories about the world she created

Why? If she wants to keep her world contained I say let her. I'd rather she keep it contained than just letting everyone and anyone write a story with her characters and dilluting the original books for just a quick buck (which she doesn't need). I think it's nice to see someone show that kind of restraint in this day and age of excessive greed.

I think someone will suggest a prequel focusing on Harry's parents and the teachers when they were all kids or teens, and if they throw enough money at her....
