ah.. say, I hope they can work Jack McGee into the plot somehow..

you know... I think that Jack McGee will be portrayed by Matt Damon.

There is going to be a person interviewed by the news about seeing the Hulk called Jack McGee but not as an actual character just as an easter egg as far as I know.

Things might have changed though! Makes more sense to me to call a news reporter called Jack McGee reporting about a sighting of a giant green monster and everyone thinking he is crazy. Just as an easter egg of some sort for fans of the TV Show.

I've been saying all along what will make this movie perfect:

A scene with both Jack McGee and Rick Jones.

An even better spoof of the character is to have Jack McGee interviewing Stan Lee (the security guard) and getting his account of what he experienced up in the Berkley facility. And somewhere during the interview, Lou Ferigno (security guard) pops his head in the room and tells Stan that they have a situation and they have to go check it out - leaving Jack looking bewildered and curious.

OK, except, this is a reboot, so, what happened up in the Berkeley facility, didn't happen.

There's no reason why this scene (even if only a minute long) can't be done to please fanboys

Where has this Jack McGee thing been mentioned ?

Maybe because Jack McGee is a character on the TV show, and is not Hulk cannon in the SOURCE MATERIAL. I dont want to see the character at all, unless a quick glimpse.

Maybe there will be a quick scene with news reporters at the scene of some Hulk destruction and one of the reporters could be named McGee. I would like that, but please, nothing more than that.

Yeah, there is going to be a Jack McGee character but he is not going to a influence on the movie it is just going to be a short shot of someone called Jack McGee talking about seeing Hulk to the news, something like that. Nothing big, just an easter egg.

Now where's Rick Jones, dammit!

Don't think they are going to have a Rick Jones character otherwise we would have heard of the casting but we may get a reference to someone called Rick Jones.

I'm guessing that since we are going to see the origin through flashbacks and memories then we might see Banner saving a mis-behaved, acting like a jerk student called Rick Jones when Banner's accident occurs. Nothing big but just a reference then in a sequel the character of Rick Jones could be explored more and even introduced.

Rick is tied to the Captain America/ Avengers franchise, unfortunately. Just blame whoever wrote the first Captain America movie script how many years ago.

I'll take what I can get! I'd still go bananas if the two were in a scene together.

Rick is tied to the Captain America/ avengers franchise, unfortunately. blame whoever writes up the rights in Marvels legal office.

The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, and the upcoming Thor, Cap, and Ant-Man movies are all leading to an Avengers movie, all of which are being done by Marvel productions. In fact, that's all the more reason to bring in Rick in a Hulk movie.

^ Yep. We could see a cross-over and Rick Jones may end up in a Hulk movie or atleast meet the Hulk in an Avengers movie to please the comic-book fans.

God, it's like the same issues we had 4 years ago with all the people wanting all this crap from the TV show thrown in just because they have favorable memories of it from their childhood.

Jack McGee was a stupid protagonist. General Ross is soooo much better, I don't get why so many people think the character even needs to be mentioned ever again.

And to think, a simple picture turned people from "eh, it should be as good if not better than the first film" to 'My god, why so many influences from the TV show!"

dude i think you and i are on the same page here. i thik there is only one character that needs to be on this movie, and that rick jones. thats it. no one from the tv show matters. it has nothing to do with hulk comic history, which this movie should be based on. i still cant belive that such a major player as rick jones was, he still does not get a mention....
