The Flash Crossover with original show

I remember that an episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine managed a 'crossover' episode with The Original Series, based on the "Trouble with Tribbles" episode. It was interesting the way things were intertwined, along with stand-ins, CGI and editing.

I hope that eventually, something can be done with the current Flash series and having some kind of crossover with the original 1990 series. It can even offer a glimpse into the 2017 future of that show's Barry (Shipp) and maybe being married to Tina McGee.
