i dont read batman, so i have no answer on that, but i will say that those panels are awesome.

I think it's very good work. It's clear story telling, it's easy to know what's going on without needing narration or speech.

My only crit would be to reduce Metallo in panel 3, and give it more of a bird's eye perspective on him, it would add to the idea that he's holding Supergirl above him. Also maybe altering his stance to make it look likes he's spun around to grab her. IMO.

Good work though and your other sequentials have been good as well.

ok!! I redid the Batman sequential- I inked over the pencils.. before I found out that the studios only want to see your pencils.. so I redid it.. and I think it's better.

I dont think that this page reads aswel as the first batman/joker one you did. I would think the bat being shoot would be an image to focus on, but you just have to guess thats what happens in this version.

There are also some weird tangients happening with batmans cape on the first and second panel that make the action look a little more confusing than it should be.

I agree with you..I like elements from both. I think Panel one is stronger in this one. I also think Panel 4 is as well (Joker standing over Bats).
I think the overlap in Panel 2 with one throws the storytelling off and it becomes confusing. The placement of the panel with Robin is a bit hard to figure out where it is supposed to be read. Is it the last panel? 2rd panel?
It's placement in the previous one was a bit better I think. IMO.

thanks for the critiques. I agree- I think this page is better drawn- but I can see what you mean on the last 2 panels. It's almost like I have the same thing from 2 angles... I guess I was trying to be obscure about whether Bats got shot, and what he got shot with- for suspense. I'm new at this- so I guess I didn't pull it off very well. lol- thanks for the comments.

i already said you rock, and that image of Supergirl, is my fav of everything you done.

but i do agree with the others, there is a bit too much goin on in the middle of the page to make it clear whats happening. ALso, it looks like there might be a continuity error with which arm Metallo is holding Supergirl in.

But the pencils themselves are rockn!

Nice work, but I think you need to add a border around the two inset panels as they get kind off lost and it becomes a little difficult to read. Also I think Metallo has switched hands in this one. Previous page it was his left now it looks like it's his right grabbing.

ok! Went to Wizard World- and got a gig with Ape entertainment. They really like my original comic "Scarlet Veronica" and want to publish it. so here's the first of some new SV art! ^.^'
