I think they do, after all someone programed that robot, afterall.
QUOTE=Spider-Bite;11798453]We have just as much of an obsession with robots. We just don't give them facial features. Look at car factories. Practically all of their workforce consists of robots.
In fact we have investors working on building robot nurses in America to help us get through the baby boom retirement. There will be 2 working people for every 1 retired person, and there wont be enough human employees to run retirement homes or hospitals. within the next few decades we will see a ton of robot androids performing the work of a human.
This technology will surely spin off into the fast food industry, and from there on it will continue.

That is nothing compared to how obessed Japan is with robots seriously they have a ton cartoons, comics and live tv shows about robots. They made a Spidey show in 78 where Spidey has a giant robot.
Besides people have seen the terminator, they have keep the robots stupid so they don't turn against usd. Personally I would like a robot maid, I could order it around and not feel bad about it. Just give the robots self destruct switch that would sort their circuits, that way we could stop them if they get out of line.
