JJJ and Green Goblin?

What next? Tobey, Kirsten?

It is from Sony!

McPherson, who uses they/them pronouns, will make their acting debut as singer-songwriter Janis Ian, a musical guest on the first episode of SNL that aired Oct. 11, 1975.

Take these with grains of salt considering the site, but…

Fantastic. Big response from audience. Very Birdman/Lubezki esque in its execution with the long takes and seamless transitions. Also shot on gorgeous 16mm, incredibly gritty and reminiscent of the period. Gabriel LaBelle was best in show for me, but it’s also hard to fully pinpoint a bonafide standout within the ensemble because it’s all over the place with the way it’s constantly moving and bouncing around to different characters (not a bad thing though, I thought it kept things fresh and avoided lingering/losing momentum). Nicholas Braun is also a scene stealer as both Andy Kaufman and Jim Henson, as is Cory Michael Smith, who plays Chevy Chase.

If true, Braun pulling double duty as Kaufman and Henson is interesting.

Nice. This definitely jumped up to one of my most anticipated movies for the end of the year.

Pretty cool it’s coming out on October 11th, since SNL premiered on that very day in 1975.

I'll be so mad if they don't use this song in the trailer. :o

They look pretty spot-on, especially Cory Michael Smith as Chase and Emily Fairn as Newman. Very excited for what the first teaser or trailer will look like, and I'll be surprised if a trailer doesn't include the original SNL theme in there somewhere.
Lamorne as Garrett too. I'm also impressed with how they've made Gabriel Labelle look a little older too. The magic of wigs. :o

Smith and O'Brien as Chase and Ackroyd really surprised me with how well they match up. The cast overall is crazy. It'll be interesting to see if this turns out as good as Reitman's past works - it and 'Complete Unknown' surprising as '24 releases could really shake up the awards season.

Some of it comes off as a bit of dress up to me but it’ll all come down to the actual performances more than the look.

Release the trailer !
