Jay and Silent Bob Reboot

I'm bummed about the loss of Mallrats 2. I was REALLY looking forward to that actually happening. That said, I will go see anything with Jay and Silent Bob in the title opening night.

Everybody was quoting the **** out of that when it came out in 2001.

Reboot? meh, the original was fine

For a moderator you sure do not pay much attention. Its not a reboot of Strikes Backs, the reboot aspect is apart of the plot. It sounds fairly clever actually.

Yeah I just read the concept, and the movie sounds like it could be good.

Clerks 3 is canceled :(

I love both Clerks movies (moreso the first one), and the cartoon series was amazing (anyone who hasn't seen that needs to watch it right now), but I don't really need more Clerks. I'm more upset about the loss of Mallrats.

That said, I hope this can be a return of classic Kevin Smith.

just watch it'll be Ben Affleck and Matt Damon as Bluntman and Chronic in the reboot movie within the movie

BluntFleck will be in something very simiur to his Bat suit (just with different symbol)
and
Damons Chronic suit will be all high tech Ironman-ish

They are stopping a reboot of the original Bluntman and Chronic movie. It seems to me Jeff Andersen was the reason behind Clerks III being cancelled. Also Kev explained Universal wouldn't release the rights of the original movie to him(as they've never done that with any film in their library) and no one wanted to do the Mallrats TV show.

Its going to have to be a very different character version dynamic than what's gone before then, given the shift in friendships and lifestyle changes of everyone concerned since Strike Back.

Crazy how it's been almost ten years since the last Kevin Smith movie I saw (Cop Out). I gotta say, I'm really looking forward to seeing Jay and Silent Bob in action again. The View Askewniverse films were a big part of my teenage years and I really want to revisit them one of these days. I've been following Kevin Smith's social media and YouTube activity much closer than his films in the past decade.

As for Smith's tweet, I'm betting it's Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth playing the new Bluntman and Chronic. :o

I also read that Sharron Elizabeth aka Justice is gonna be in this too!
