I enjoy watching biopics if the person who is being portrayed signed off. It adds credibility to the film and this film has it with Aretha wanting Hudson to play her.

Blues Brothers came up on the telly tonight, and although I've watched it several times I always forget all the awesome cameos in that awesome flick. "Damn, that looks like Aretha (wasn't completely sure)". Minutes later that one of a kind voice seared through the screen, and hesitations went out.

This could be really good.
