haha.. yea im from jersey(middlesex county ).. why is it the cool thing to be from jersey now adays anyway.. i just dont get it

I grew up in Central Jersey. I didn't understand why people assumed it was all industrial - my classmate lived on a farm and my middle school was built on an old farm. We went strawberry-picking and peach-picking every summer. Apparently I lived in redneck NJ, LOL.

I actually just found out that it's illegal in NJ to pump your own gas, which is why we didn't really know how to until we moved to CA. And people thought LA drivers were bad, NJ is 5x worse, LOL. The jughandles made things interesting....

I miss fireflies though. :(

There are subtle differences if you live in NJ. If you are near Trenton, you tend to favor Philadelphia teams. The more you go northeast, you root for NY teams. Gotta love NJ, we cheer for other states teams.

Also the designation of what is North/Central/South. If you live in Eatontown and say you live in South Jersey (Exit 105), people who live in Cape May would laugh at that. *Only Jersey people will get this*

I live in Bloomingdale, which is near Wayne for those unfamiliar. I grew up in Livingston not far from the mall and went to highschool at Newark Academy.

It'd be easier if you just named the mall you live closest by. :o

"I grew up in Livingston not far from the mall..." = LIVINGSTON MALL. :o

Geez.

I was speaking to everyone else. :o

Woodbridge Mall. Even though Menlo Mall is like 5 minutes down the road.

Ok. Well, I'm now about 15 minutes north of Willowbrook, right near where I-287 hits Rte 23.

new jersey is a wanna be borough of New York...jersey sucks!!!!!

i'm sorry if i offended anybody, but i must tell you how all us New Yorkers feel about jersey...we just don't like it.

Yet you all come into NJ to shop because there's no tax.

And they're very against the Yankees. I'm not down with that.

This is why I don't go to NY, even though it's like half an hour away.

I was born in Sicklerville. Been living in Philly since I was 9, though. I hate that there aren't as many Wawas here in Philly.

Also, Atco is the biggest ****hole in all of Jersey. And Camden wishes it was Philly.

So, if I were to visit New Jersey, what could I see as a tourist attraction?

Mob graveyards?

The missing witness monument?

I wish there was a laser in space that could cut out Camden and send it floating away down the Delaware River.

I didn't know you were a sista (speaking in terms of being a South Jersey resident, of course). How long have you been there?

Actually anytime I enertained a girl from out of town, I always took her to a dinner and a show in the City (NY). Heh I finally got caught because people around here call it the city and someone not from around here was like which one?

But what's in NJ? Besides it's dozens of malls?

Lot nice beach areas. Long Beach Island, Spring Lake, Cape May. I met a girl or 2 at Point Pleasant which is alright.

Liberty Space Science Center.

Atlantic City.

The Giants and Jets both play in New Jersey despite what their names say.

We do have a basketball and a hockey team. Sometimes really good ones although, it's a shame they don't get as much support even when they are winning.

Sking up north.

Knowing our luck, it'd just cross the river and crash into Philly. Then they'd all get their wish.

I miss the days when people would congregate at the arcade in the Depford Mall. Especially when I'd beat whole lines of people with Spider-Man in Marvel Super Heroes.

Sign me up for the abdicate Camden movement. Grab the battleship first though.
